Louisiana Alligator Season

Eastern Louisiana Alligator Hunting SeasonLast Wednesday of August, running for 60 days

Louisiana has different rules for resident and nonresident alligator hunters, and divides the state into two alligator hunting zones. All hunts are by permit only, and alligators can only be harvested between sunrise and sunset.
